Biography


Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, Keenan Roberson graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in both Political Science and English – Creative Writing in 2014. After graduating from Creighton, Keenan went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law in Malibu, California. During her time in law school, she was an active member of the Pepperdine Interschool Moot Court Competition Team, participated in the Pepperdine Legal Aid Clinic on Skid Row and took part in Pepperdine’s study abroad program in London, United Kingdom.

After graduating from Pepperdine in 2017, Keenan returned to her home state where she served as the Committee Clerk for the Business and Labor Committee of the Nebraska State Legislature for several years.

In 2020, Keenan relocated to Houston, Texas where she began working for a regional multi-practice law firm. During her time there, she gained valuable legal experience in civil defense litigation, primarily in the areas of admiralty and maritime, insurance, commercial litigation, and Defense Base Act (DBA).

Keenan is licensed to practice in Texas and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She is a passionate and pragmatic advocate and takes pride in seeing things through to the end. She believes that good communication and trust are the cornerstones of a meaningful attorney-client relationship.
