Biography
Alexandra Van Deman joined Callender Bowlin as an associate attorney in 2024. Licensed in Texas since 2015, Alexendra brings depth and a history of success to the Callender Bowlin litigation team.
With an undergraduate background in education, Alexandra educates judges and juries about her cases and the applicable law. She answers her clients’ questions and prepares them for each step in the case.
Practicing with Callender Bowlin in Houston keeps Alexandra close to family. She lives in the local area with her husband and two daughters.
Proven Experience and Results in Law
Alexandra’s legal success began in law school, where she earned a place on the prestigious Texas Tech Law Review. She served as an extern with the 160th Civil District Court in Dallas-Fort Worth, working directly with judges, learning court management practices. She gained further experience as a summer associate and law clerk for Lubbock and Dallas-area law firms.
After law school, Alexandra joined the Dallas office of a mid-size, Texas-based law firm. There, she built her skills in a variety of litigation practice areas, including insurance defense, personal injury, products liability and property damage. Her practice included managing a large volume of car accident claims, premises liability matters and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation violations.
